my trusted steed has run it’s course.  my first mac, the macbook pro first version after a few years is looking like it has been through a war.   and it’s really on it’s last legs in the features department.  the screen is snapped bottom left side, one usb port on the left is broke, the cd drive bay is dented (still works but faff) and the battery will not hold charge you need to power it off the mains.   But it’s still a macbook pro! - full loaded at the time and cost me £2500 this was my biggest investment out of my remaining cash i had from the flat sale two years ago.   it’s been brilliant.   running the latest snow leopard and in desperate need of a cleardown really.   still works perfectly thou regardless of the above.

I have no idea how to price this.   Want to tell because i have another laptop (netbook) the acer aspire one running jolicloud so i have a system i can use when mobile (it is better anyway in terms of portability) - done a lot of video editing on this mac and although it only has firewire 400 had some good times with it.   Looking for cash really for it so i put that towards bills/caravan/something.
