first batch of stuff up.

sorry it took so long to get the ‘stuff’ up.  i’m actually thinking now that i have to document every single piece of stuff in the house.  it’s like some kind of mega mission i have to go on.  to get this stuff up and for sale or trade and even start a discussion around this stuff.  why we buy it.  do you utilize it as much as you thought you would.  if not - get rid, give it too someone else.  why do we have tombs of this crap?

i really need a way to export this stuff on freecycle as well but i want some cash/trade/barter for this sideboard really.  it’s a nice one and with a bit of adjustment can look like it was not put together by an idiot (not sam, me for the front panels!) - it’s a nice sideboard but in true flatpack the drawers are saggy and the back is falling off.

black and white oki b4100 black laser printer.  fast, works well with windows and i think mac driver as well.  perfect working order.  will take £25, trade/swap/barter - what have you! :)

the original itrip for the original square nano.  if you have one and you want this give me a trade/swap/barter for something else.  it works perfectly - tune into your radio.  apple really should be taken to task for this kind of rapid mass landfill creation really.  they need loyality and upgrade plans.  that nano was perfectly ok until they realised that people would buy more if it was sexy.  damn you sexy.

the dell poweredge 2650’s - i have two of these both different configs but these are enterprise quality and bought from new.  these badboys originally back in the day (about 4/5 years back) cost about £5k each - crazy.   probably worth it to someone that wants 73gb scsi drives, xeon and enterprise quality infrastructure.  really want cash for them and i want both to go.  19” rack mounted.

trying to remember what i put in here.  i know it has a soundblaster 4 card which sounds wonderful and it has the duel drives for ripping from one to the other which is nice - one of which is a sweet plextor.  i was going to use this for vidblaster but i really dislike using windows these days.   does work perfectly.  used very little.  swap/trade/offers - will boot and get ya full spec if required but it’s an amd chip i’m pretty sure.  think it has hardcore decent ocz memory in as well.  i guess i really need to throw the windows7 rc1 on it.

ok, so this looks like a good deal but a few problems with this one.  this is a canon hv20 hd tape camcorder with HDMI out which is very useful to connect up to the blackmagic intensity card on my computer.   problem is i dropped the camera at sxsw 2k9 and the audio no longer works.  to top that i took it to dubai and my ammobox was open when i got to dubai and the camera no longer records/tape is broken.   so what you have here is a really expensive webcam.  rofl.   offers, trade, swaps please.   oh and you do not get the sexy wideangle HD lens on the front.   i’m swapping that onto something else.    Basically this is a camera for you if you want to hook up the hdmi output to your computer or something.

my rode videomic with the nokia adapter hookup.  perfect shotgun mic for recording to your nokia phone interview styli.   ideally want about £65 for the mic and the connector. i removed the support which is now lost for attaching as a hotshoe so really only good enough for holding and pointing at a person in an interview now.   will consider trade/swap around the same amount for something useful for someone living more minimal.

the samson co1u condenser usb microphones.  actually really good on windows but not so much on the mac because the software to overdrive it not so good.  switched and upgraded to the snowball.  time to let these go - want to sell for £25 each and i have like 3 or 4 i think.   Would consider swap/trade for something interesting.   @philcampbell on twitter if you have a trade!

i'm unemployed. i have a house i do not want anymore and stuff inside that house i want to get rid off.

this is my final stand against stuff. i'm sick of the sight of stuff. i want my stuff to go to better homes - where it will get used daily and not go to landfill.

looking for trade/swap/barter or cash. ultimate goal to only own stuff that i can put in the boot of a car in a few bags. want to sell house and get a motorhome or caravan and live more simple.

want to work on an eco project for the next eight months of next year to make it the best that it can be and start to be more respectful of the environment around me.
